We have been using SQL Compact Toolbox 3.1.6.0 for some time - it is a great tool, well done. Today I looked at the latest version, and loaded the extension to VS2010. Our sqlce files are always created with an extension of ".ftd" rather than ".sdf". However in the latest version this does not seem to be supported (as seems to be the case in VS server explorer). When you browse to a sqlce 3.5 file that DOES NOT have the .sdf extension, the OK button remains disabled and it seems to be impossible to connect to the sqlce file. Am I missing something?
What would be ideal would be to have a custom filter that could be set for the file name extension in the Connection Properties Window. Test Connection still operates and verifies the connection succeeded.
Even in 3.1.6.0 its really annoying to have to select All files everytime a new data file (.ftd extension) is opened.
Thanks for the great work.
Tim
